Hey there, fellow author!
In these precarious times, book events are being cancelled and LOTS of people are listening to podcasts. With all of that in mind, I have an idea for us to collaborate.
If you have a new or soon-to-release book and fewer chances to promote it due to the coronavirus, I’d love to support your work while providing some wonderfulness to Girl Boner Radio listeners. If you’d like to be considered for inclusion in an episode and have your book plugged by me, here are the steps:
1 Choose a theme:
Funniest sex or sex ed memories
A lesson you learned about sex/sexuality — how you learned it and the takeaway
“I can’t believe that happened” – wild and wonky dating (true) stories
2 “Send a voice message” to me here,* sharing your story.
You’ll have two minutes and the app will let you listen to your recording before submitting it. Aim to be conversational, without stressing over sentence structure and the like. Record in a quiet place and have fun with it!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not state anything but your story in the voice message–not your name, no “hello everyone” or book pitch—just the story. I’ll take care of the rest.
*If you have the skills and would rather submit a clip as a Google drive, editable link, you can include that with your note (in step 3).
3 Using the contact form on the same page, send me:
- Your author name
- The book’s title and release date
- A one-sentence bio
- A one-sentence mini synopsis (I know… ;))
- 1 sentence on why Girl Boner listeners might dig it
While I may not be able to reply to everyone, I will let you know if you’re selected for inclusion. The episode will tentatively release mid to late April.
