“Sex is the most fun you can have without laughing.” — Woody Allen
Put another way, laughter is the most fun you can have without sex—at least it can be. If I’d had any doubt before last Friday, gifted interior designer Craig Olsen and Robbie Laughlin, a celebrated E! TV host, doused it. Together they host The Craig and Robbie Hour, a funky blend of radio, the web and TV that airs weekly, covering everything from their social lives and celebrity interviews to, as of last week, Girl Boner! I had the pleasure of appearing as a guest and WOW. There was no holding back!
What is a Girl Boner? Does size matter? Where is a woman’s G-spot, and how does one find it? We explored these saucy questions and so much more.

Fun, right? If you dug it, I hope you’ll consider subscribing to their podcasts via iTunes and posting a review. You can also connect with Craig (@CraigOlsen) and Robbie (@RobbieLaughlin) on Twitter. If you’re curious about the helicopter move we discussed, check out this post, by Natalie Hartford. FYI, the failure rate is roughly 100%.
What did you think of the show? Any thoughts to share with the dynamic hosts? Do you agree with Craig’s assessment that straight men desire more (and more and more…) oral sex? We may be exploring that topic further soon. Regardless, I hope you’re having a brilliant, #GirlBoner-embracing week! ♥

OMG, I loved the show. To say it kept me entertained would be a major understatement. Seriously, it’s been a while since I’ve laughed so hard. Between the helicopter and the food, I was dying at the images popping up in my head. I totally blame Jenny for the special ingredient that popped into my head when GB cookbook was mentioned. Semenology at it’s best, right?
I’m so glad you got a kick out of it, Kitt! Thanks so much for watching.
LOL Semenology definitely has its perks! I was really tempted to spill some of my recipes, but thought better of it. Seems like another episode.
That show is so entertaining, August. I’m so relieved the peanut butter story isn’t true. Will watch more later. Go you!
Aw. Me, too, Catherine! I was worried about that dog. Thanks for the support!
Imagine my disappointment when I couldn’t access the video on my work laptop! It’s my only way of getting online, too. Dangit. I’ll always just have to wonder. I feel like my life might have changed.
Drats! If only I had the transcripts. Apparently the audio-only version will be available soon. Perhaps that’ll work! If not, you’ll have to call in next time.
and let me say you can enjoy laughter equally by yourself as you’d in a company (no pun intended!!)
You were just awesome on the show. I haven’t heard about the show or the hosts before but it seemed that they both enjoyed a lot having you on the show. I must admire the ease with which you were answering the questions which at times they seemed half reluctant to ask.
Lovely of you to say, Yatin. And I love that solo observation! I relished the opportunity to discuss sexuality with such hilarious, outspoken folks on the air.
You are now circulating in the “cool underground” of the UA campus But this made me remember an incident that happened back in H.S. They added sex ed to the curriculum (in my home town of 4,500) and within a few weeks the backlash from parents was so great that they dropped the class…and fired the teacher! I do, after all, live in the Land of Ronnie Floyd (and you know what religion did to me). But even as a teenager I remember thinking that if we could only be more open about this most natural thing on the planet, then maybe a third of the sophomore girls wouldn’t be pregnant. Personally, I have always celebrated sex…much to Mama’s chagrin.
LOL Well anything to be cool on campus!
They DROPPED the class? That is astonishing – yet somehow not, all considering – and, more so, sad. I love that you’ve always celebrated sex. Natural indeed!
Watched the clip! You’re adorable. What a fun time you guys had. Love it. Much success to you!
Aw. Thanks so much, Jess! We really did have a blast.
I took an hour to watch the entire show. – And I loved it. It seemed to me you had so much fun – and the Guys apparently did too.
I definitely admire you for not being nervous – or shy in any kind of way. You’re such a special wonderful person!
OMG. I died laughing and I LOVED the show. I’m subscribing to the whole shabang and then going back and watching more of the Craig and Robbie Hour. Keep up the awesome work. You’re a fantastic role model
That was freaking awesome! Mathair and I watch E! just for Robbie Laughlin and his who wore it best segments. Mathair told me about that quote from Woody Allen when I was younger and finished it with her own. “Sex is the most fun you can have without laughing, but when you can find a partner that you can laugh with during sex; now that’s a keeper.”
Ooh, I like that! A lover we can laugh with – GOLDEN. So glad you enjoyed the show!
It’s amazing how doors open once you’ve started on a path! A cool and awesome interview! You come across really well on TV. Those guys are real crack-ups & sharp too… And yet beneath the hilarity, a savvy, sensible & sober show about an aspect of human reality. Good stuff.
Apropos the ‘dog embarrassment’ adventure – one of those ‘ewwww’ stories on so many levels, ..and Frank Zappa wrote songs about it. Two, at least, that I’m aware of…
Thanks, Matthew! I really appreciate your watching it and the encouraging feedback. They’re great guys, indeed.
Ha. I’ll have to check those songs out! With caution…
