Did you know that going vegetarian can spice up your bedroom life? How about that a woman’s sexual prime happens whenever she chooses it to be?
In this episode of Girl Boner® Radio, August explores sexy perks of a plant-based diet then interviews author Lynn Brown Rosenberg. Lynn’s memoir, My Sexual Awakening at 70, explores her personal journey to embracing her full self. She is living proof that sensuality doesn’t have to dwindle over time, and that it’s never too late to gain fulfillment.
You’ll also hear from sex-pert Kait Scalisi, MPH, who advises a listener who’s recently gone vegan on smoothening things out with her meat-loving boyfriend. Last but not least, August shares a way you can help make the world brighter for a group of dogs in need of loving homes. (See below for more details!)

Wonderful episode! As a sexagenarian, I now have even more reason to look forward to being a septagenarian, thanks to Lynn Brown Rosenberg. Who knew the 70s could look so good! But this interview is not just for older women for regardless of age, women seem to lack information about sex. Women like Rosenberg and podcasts like #GirlBoner are making sure that more women are finding their way to sexual empowerment at every age. That can only benefit the world.
Not that I was surprised that a plant based diet feeds our body well but it isgreat to know that there are sexual perks to eating such a diet. And yes I can imagine that the body’s flavors and smells vary according to what we eat. Much food for thought here….;)
I was impressed yet again by Kait Scalisi’s practical advice offered to the couple whose eating preferences conflict a bit as one is a vegan and the other eats meat. Scalisi offered a variety of options and included dying in a dining out. Again, she is always so practical and thoughtful.
I am sorry that I do not live in Southern California so that I could be part of the animal foster program, APE. Fostering animals is one of the best things we can do for the planet for it changes us so much as humans.
As always, I enjoyed the episode; as always, I learned a lot. Thank you to everyone.
