Welcome to our #FamiliesBelongTogether book fundraiser! The below authors and I have gathered together virtually, with hopes of raising more money than we might on our own to help the families who’ve been separated at the border.
We hope to raise money simply and efficiently. For that reason, this fundraiser has a “grab bag” style, meaning you won’t choose the book you’ll receive. Rather, you can enjoy the surprise of one of the below books sent to you by mail, in most cases from the author themselves. Unless otherwise noted, your book will be personalized with an autograph and/or personal note!
LIMIT: ONE BOOK PER PERSON
You can donate as much as you’d like, however! And more than one person per household can donate/receive a book separately.
ENDS AT MIDNIGHT PST FRIDAY, 6/29, or sooner if we sell out before then.If we do sell out, I’ll add a note at the top of this page and likely turn comments off as well.
To donate, help families and get your book:
1. Post a comment below, stating that you’re in!
2. Send me a suggested donation of $10—or more, if you wish—via PayPal.
To do so, log in to PayPal.com and select send money to a friend. (This is a donation, for which you’ll receive a gifted book. If you choose product/service, fees will detract from the donation.)
Enter my email address as the recipient: augustmclaughlin@gmail.com and send your chosen amount.
That’s it! I’ll pass your info on to the author or publisher and you should receive your book within two weeks.
I will donate ALL funds to ACT BLUE: Support Kids at the Border. I’ll also save receipts and share the total we raise here on my blog.
*Please make sure the name and shipping address are accurate on your PayPal submission.
*If there is a genre/category you absolutely do not want to receive, please mention that with your donation.
*If you live outside of the U.S., the author will have the option to send you a digital version, unless otherwise noted below.
